Midwest Family Services is fully licensed by the Indiana Department of Child

Services and provides Foster Care Services in Marion, Allen, Lake, Delaware, Hamilton, Johnson, Hendricks, Boone, Shelby and Vigo Counties. Our partnership with the Indiana Department of Child Services seeks to increase the number of Foster Care parents in Central Indiana, link youth with appropriate mental health providers, and focus on reducing the number of failed placements for youth in foster care.

Midwest Family Services focuses on the recruitment of foster care parents and specialization of foster care services for youth in the community.

Midwest Family Services Foster Care Highlights

• Monthly reimbursements
• Weekly or bi-weekly in-home support visits
• In-home support & parenting skills training
• Coordination and supervision of birth parents’ visits and interactions
• Coordination of medical, psychological and educational needs and referrals
• 24-hour crisis availability
• Individual orientations with prospective foster parents.
• Pre-certification educational classes
