President
Shelvy Haywood Keglar is a clinical psychologist, founder and President of Midwest Psychological Center, Inc. Dr. Keglar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Arkansas State University. He earned is Ph.D. is Psychology from Indiana University. Dr. Keglar has published in the areas of personality assessment, addictions, and adolescent psychology. Dr. Keglar specializes in treating adolescents and families, neuropsychology, correctional mental health and the developmentally disabled population. A distinguished alumnus of Kaskaskia College and Arkansas State University, Dr. Keglar was selected as a top Psychologist in Indianapolis and distinguished alumnus for the Department of Counseling and Psychology at Arkansas State in 2015. He is a member of the International Who’s Who in medicine. He is a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology, and certified in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Substances of Abuse and former Chair of the Indiana Hypnotist Committee.

Director of Administration
As the Director of Administration, Karen Carlson oversees human resources, quality assurance, and business development for Midwest Psychological Center. A graduate of Indiana University, Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Before being promoted to Director of Administration in early 2015, Karen worked as the Contract Compliance Monitor for Midwest since 2007.

Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Deb Faust is the new Administrative Assistant at Midwest Psychological Center. She will be answering the phones and greeting clients as well as data entry for new and existing clients.
Deb has many accomplishments in her career, but she extremely proud of the article published in the May/June 2024 (CMM Magazine) Cleaning Maintenance and Management Magazine. The article is about the student custodial program she started at Decatur Township Schools just before COVID hit.
Deb enjoys meeting new people and she especially enjoys boating with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren at Lake Lemon.
