Company Profile

Midwest Psychological Center, Inc. is an experienced provider of mental health services to private health care organizations and public agencies.  With over 25 years of experience in mental health, we have built a strong and growing network of dedicated professionals and organizational resources.

Our specialization in mental health began when our company was formed in 1978.  Through the years, we have developed and managed mental health programs for hospitals, community, and state agencies.  Midwest Psychological Center rapidly grew to become one of the areas leading providers of psychological and mental health services with Job Corps, schools, Head Start and hospitals.  In the mid-1990’s, the organization expanded its scope of services for community transition and aftercare services for juveniles released from Boot Camp under a four-year contract with the Indiana Department of Corrections.  Midwest’s Family Preservation and Reunification Program has been a key point in preventing out-of-home placement of children from high-risk families for the Marion County Superior Court Juvenile Division.  Midwest AODA is a certified alcohol and drug abuse program with the State of Indiana and provides assessment and referral services on behalf of the Marion County Superior Court Juvenile Division.

In 1996, Midwest expanded its long-term care program and developed Washington Place, a residential facility to provide services to juvenile males with the Indiana DOC and State of Indiana FSSA.  We added our second residential facility, Ruckle Center, in 2003.

As the demand for correctional behavioral care shifted and the marketplace developed, Midwest Psychological Center has concentrated on new demand and growth related mental health services, particularly in correctional facilities.  We provide mental health services to the Marion County Jail system for 2,500 inmates at 5 different sites in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Staff:  In all our contracts and programs, we provide specialized resources in recruiting psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health staff.  We maintain a continuous and growing network of candidates, recruiting resources, and professional organizations that understand and are committed to corrections-related work.

Quality Assurance: We are dedicated to quality assurance initiatives for our clients.  We have a sincere desire to continuously improve the quality of mental health care.  We supply the resources needed to achieve this objective and assure staff compliance with review requirements, quality assurance planning, and in-service training.

Today, Midwest Psychological Center represents the highest standard of experience and leadership in the field of mental health, correctional healthcare, and program management.
